Around the corner I have a friend,

ฉันมี เพื่อนที่อยู่ไม่ไกล

In this great city that has no end,

Yet the days go by and weeks rush on,

และเวลา ก็ยังคงผ่านไป

And before I know it, a year is gone.

ฉันไม่ เคยรู้ว่านานแค่ไหน

And I never see my old friends face,

แต่ฉัน ไม่เคยเจอเพื่อนเก่าคนนั้น

For life is a swift and terrible race,

เพราะ ชีวิตที่มีแต่การเปลี่ยนแปลงและแข่งขัน
 

   he knows I like him just as well,

รู้แต่ ว่าเขาคงสบายดีเช่นกัน
 As in the days when I rang his bell.

จนวัน หนึ่งอยากลองไปหาดูสักที

And he rang mine but we were younger then,

เพื่อน ที่เราเคยมีความรู้สึกดี ๆ

And now we are busy, tired men.

แต่ตอน นี้เรายุ่งและเหนื่อยล้า

Tired of playing a foolish game,

ต้อง ฟันผ่ากับเกมอันหลากหลาย

Tired of trying to make a name.

เหนื่อยหน่ายกับการสร้างชื่

พรุ่งนี้แล้วกันนะฉันจะโทร หา

Just to show that I'm thinking of him."

ปลอบตัว เองว่าเรายังมีเพื่อนให้คิดถึงอยู่

But tomorrow comes and tomorrow goes,

แต่พรุ่งนี้ผ่านมาแล้วก็ผ่าน ไป

And distance between us grows and grows.

ระยะทาง ระหว่างเรายิ่งไกล

Around the corner, yet miles away,

เพื่อน ที่อยู่ใกล้กลับเหมือนอยู่ห่างร้อยไมล์

"Here's a telegram sir," "Jim died today."

จนได้ ข่าวว่าเพื่อนจากเราไป

And that's what we get and deserve in the end.

นี่คือ สิ่งที่เราสมควรได้หรืออย่างไร

Around the corner, a vanished friend.

ที่ตรง นั้นไม่ไกล แต่ว่าเพื่อนฉันไม่อยู่อีกต่อไป

 

 Remember to always say what you mean.

จงพูด อย่างที่ใจคิด

If you love someone, tell them.

ถ้าคุณ รักใครสักคนก็บอกเขาไป

 

Don't be afraid to express yourself.

อย่า กลัว ที่จะเผยความรู้สึก

Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you.

เปิดใจ และบอกคนที่มีความหมายกับคุณ

Because when you decide that it is the right time it might

  เพราะหากคุณรอจนถึงเวลาที่เหมาะสม วันนั้นอาจจะช้าไป

be too late.

 

Seize the day. Never have regrets.

หาโอกาส ในวันนี้ แล้วคุณจะไม่มีวันเสียใจทีหลัง

And most importantly, stay close to your friends

and family, for they have helped

make you the person that you are today.

สิ่ง ที่สำคัญที่สุด จงอย่าละเลยเพื่อนและครอบครัว เพราะพวกเขาทำให้คุณเป็นอย่างที่คุณเป็นทุกวันนี้

   Bye'Nior is a type of farewell party, which brings good memories, care, love and forever friendship. It seems to me that By'Nior party is to show love with their seniors and share happiness each other. It represents immortal friendship really.

   On 4 Febuary 2006 our juniors as IBC first and second year students held the By'Nior party in Matropol hotel in Phuket town. Its atmosphere was plenty of love and friendship.  I never forgot as the first pace that I stepped in the party, I felt elegant and anxious. I was the first person arrived there. At that time, I was feeing a bit nervouse and embarrassed simultaneously.

   Time passed by around 45 minutes, my friends arrived there and had pictures together. At the moment, I saw my lovely and close junior in the dress of Geisha. She looked so very beautiful at that night. We two took several pictures together.

   The party got started. The MC announced to let us assemble at the side of the stage to prepare for our catwalk. According to having only 6 men in the class, one man would go on the stage with a few women. It sounded fabulous. When my turn was coming, I felt a bit stressed. I went up with 2 pretty girls. While being on the stage, my junior sent me a lovely bouquet. I really felt happy to get so.

   In the party, there were a lot of performances from our all juniors. It had great fun, I was supposed. And in the performance bofore the last one, we as seniors went up front and sang meaningful songs both in Thai and Chinese. It made someone cry.

   Eventually, we all took photoes together for memorial frienship. I felt really appreciative and impreesed. I never ever forgot it, I promise. 

 

Ps. I won the 'Genious and Academic' award, which everyone voted me as consensus.

Dear All friends gone to Krabi at Oaw Nang,

 

         The Wind was whispering each other. The Sand represented purity. The Wave smoothed as silk. All of them were the best friends to be dependent inevitably. It reflected our adherent friendship.

 

         I have never forgotten it just a second. Though it passed by, our friendship would have been endless I believe.
